VCB 50-mile reliability ride is scheduled for Sunday 8 January.

Start times are 08:30 (4 hrs), 09:00 (3½ hrs), and 09:30 (3 hrs), from Oulton Community Centre, Meadow Rd (think Gorleston Rd), Lowestoft, NR32 3AZ. 

The finish is in Bridge Rd, Oulton Broad, car park, opposite St Mark's church (NR33 9JX), where, as usual, there will be refreshments.

The community centre is just the start point, not a HQ, so we should NOT park there. Some of you living outside Lowestoft might need to drive. If so, there is limited layby parking alongside the centre's grounds on Gorleston Rd. However, although it's not free, best option is the finish car park. It's approx 1.5 miles from the start. It is at least a warm-up of sorts rather than getting straight out of the car!

The charge is £2.00 for up to 4 hours and £4.00 for over 4 hours. Fast riders could be okay for the cheaper but keep in mind allowing time for, getting ready, riding to the start, getting signed on and having refreshments after finishing. Unusually, the ticket machine accepts cash but not cards! It also accepts the RingGo app. It doesn't give change but, yes - you've guessed right! - it accepts overpayment. I confirm the rides are still free.
