A great turnout for the inaugural Beccles Triathlon course recce!

We couldn’t have asked for a better morning for our very first, non-club member only, guided bike course reconnaissance ride.

It was fantastic to see such a strong turnout. We would like to extend a special thank you to the Beccles Lido charity; their incredible support in facilitating the start and finish of the ride made the entire event possible.

True to what we aim for at Beccles Triathlon Club, the event was incredibly inclusive. We welcomed riders of all ages and abilities, on a wide variety of bikes riding at various paces. Everyone found their rhythm, ensuring the groups stayed together and supported one another throughout the route.

The weather was perfect, giving us gorgeous sunshine from start to finish. Riders did a fantastic job representing the club on the roads, and the feedback from our ride leaders has been excellent, highlighting the great attitude and teamwork on display.

We want to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who joined us. Your support and positive energy made this inaugural event a true success. 

To everyone racing on 7th June have an awesome race! You now have the course knowledge fresh in your mind, and we know you’re going to do great.
